This exhibition features 60 paintings and architectural models of Russian art dating back to the early 20th century. Works on display are on loan from the State Tretyakov Gallery and other Russian Regional Museums. The exhibition documents the birth and development of avant-garde art in Russia from the clear influence of such artists as Cezanne, Gaugin and Picasso (which comprehends Cubist-Futurist French art) to original creations of Suprematist non-objective art and the formal discipline of Constructivism.
Some of the works on display are by: Malevich, Tatlin, Kandinsky, Lentulov, Chagall, Falk and Rodchenko.
