GREAT VENETIANS: from Pisanello and Tiziano to Tintoretto and Tiepolo
Rome’s Chiostro del Bramante is offering its guests an extraordinary exhibit of 15th and 16th century Venetian-style painting: from Pisanello to Tiepolo. This unique event is taking place thanks to the temporary closing of Bergamo’s Accademia Carrara for renovation. This exhibit, under the supervision of Professor Giovanni Villa from the Humanities Department of the University of Bergamo, displays eighty paintings. It begins with Giovanni Bellini and Carpaccio to then proceed with works by Tintoretto,Veronese, painters of the Bassano family, Paris Bordone up to those by Padovanino, Carpioni, Canaletto, Guardi and Belletto.
