At night in the alleys of Ancient Rome
Definitely the most original event of this summer in Rome. “A night in the alleys of Ancient Rome” is a series of evening outdoor performances that were created to promote the rediscovery of some of the most representative characters of the history of Rome: Galla Placidia, Ippolito II D’Este and Christina Queen of Sweden. Spectators will encounter historical characters – interpreted by actors in costume – who talk about their lives (accompanied by music of the various eras) in the evocative atmosphere of the city in which they lived.
