The Upside down World of Chagall – Rome
This is an extraordinary exhibition of the renowned Russian artist Marc Chagall. 130 works including paintings and drawings created by the artist between 1917 and 1982 will be on display in the magnificent halls of the Museo dell’Ara Pacis, Rome. His paintings offer complex landscapes in which elements challenge the Law of Gravity. The purpose of this exhibition is to highlight the reasons that brought the artist to conceiving a world in which all regulations of the classic placement of usual representations are broken.
