The beautiful halls of the Chiostro del Bramante will be hosting a major exposition focused upon Cleopatra VII, Egypt’s last queen. Ptolemaic Egypt, the fascinating life of Cleopatra and the influence she had on the political events of her time and the relationship between Rome and Egypt will all be explored through an exhibition that features more than 200 works on loan from some of Italy’s and the world’s most prestigious museums including Rome’s National Museum, the Naples National Archaeological Museum , the Museo Egizio in Turin, the Museo Egizio in Florence, the Vatican Museums, the Brooklyn Museum of Arts and the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna.
