SIMPLY RED in concert – Rome

After 25 years of successes together, Simply Red has decided to say farewell to fans with a series of concerts, retracing the band’s artistic history through its best known songs. The band was Mick Hucknall’s idea and its name originates from the colour of his hair, his passion for the Manchester United football team as well as for his political tendencies. Simply Red will perform the best pieces of their career on the stage of Rome’s Auditorium della Musica from classics like “Money’s Too Tight To Mention” and “The Right Thing” to “Stay” and the recent hit “So Not Over You”.
This concert is an authentic voyage into pop music, even though this Brit band experiments with rhythms from the world over. The “Farewell Tour” will also hit Asia, Australia, South America and Europe. Following the tour, Mick Hucknall will embark on a solo career.
