A display of brands, logos, trademarks and symbols of ownership and belonging in Ancient Rome. An exhibit dedicated to “brands”, that elaborate system of cataloguing symbols and replicating values and experiences that date back to the origins of humanity which has also embraced the intricate economic and social history of Ancient Rome. A “pre-industrial” society in which pax romana made the expansion of its productive and commercial structure possible (shops, businesses, corporations, craftsmen, transportation and roads) and where symbols sanction a sense of identity and the desire to be a part of a mutual productive and cultural system. The exhibition includes multimedia devices that provide special communication for children visiting the show and a full schedule of educational activities.
