MADONNA IN CONCERT

Madonna is returning to Italy after 4 years and Rome is the first Italian stop of her concert tour. The other Italian cities slated are Milan and Florence. The great Queen of Pop is the star of the Madonna 2012 World Tour which will include her new album MDNA. Featured singles are “Give me all your luvin’” (presented at the Super Bowl) and “Girl Gone Wild”. On 12 June, Madonna will offer her audience at the Stadio Olimpico a concert which will be provoking, exciting and most definitely unforgettable. A date that no pop lover or fan of this great international star should miss.

Grand Hotel de La Minerve, a 5 star Luxury Hotel in Rome, is located in one of the most fascinating squares of the city, between the Pantheon and the Church of “Santa Maria Sopra Minerva”.

Trajan’s Market in Rome will be hosting one of the most fascinating exhibitions of the year until 10 June. The show dedicated to modern Arab calligraphic art is presented thanks to the patronage of Jordan’s Queen Rania Al Abdullah. The halls at Rome’s Palazzo Venezia are hosting the first monographic exhibition of the great Venetian artist Carlo Saraceni. He was greatly influenced by Caravaggio with works featuring dramatic contrasts of shadow and light and worked on commission from the Vatican for the most part. Rome’s National Gallery of Modern Art is exhibiting a large number of works by the great American artist, the icon of Pop Art. His paintings-serigraphs (from Marilyn Monroe and Campbell’s soup cans to Elvis and dollar bill logos) became symbols of American art and culture. This is one of those exhibits that you just cannot miss. The halls of Palazzo Incontro are hosting an exhibit of one of Photography’s legends: Henri Cartier Bresson. The great artist Omar Galliani is back in Rome on exhibit. Galliani is the outstanding exponent of the Magico Primario post modern movement and the Anachronistic Group of artists of the 1980’s. In this technological day and age, Galliani still makes charcoal and pencil drawings. 25 preparatory sketches are on display in the Carlo Bilotti Museum at the in the Villa Borghese Orangery.
